The following two images are my latest work from my MFA thesis show in May 2009 at the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. They are both Digital Lambda Prints mounted on Sintra.

Born of mythology, poetry, conflict resolution, spiritualism and an exploration of the uncanny, these prints seek to explore a more visceral side of visual perception. I attempt to create an image-scape that was familiar yet unrecognizable, colorful yet unsettling, seductive yet repulsive. By piecing together various arguments on reason, conflicts, war and mythology into a cohesive graphic language, I am exploring a more instinctive working pattern.

Here is a compressed version of my first video work since I've been here at Cranbrook. It is a digitally created segment with some Bollywood and instrumental music mixed into the background score.

I am a graphic designer currently taking on the role of a design educator at theGrand Valley State University's Art & Design Departmentt, in Michigan. I am also a graduate of the Cranbrook Academy of Art (2D Design) from 2009. I am a multi-tasking designer: I work alongside my teaching program, on a handloom revival project, as well as free-lancing for my favourite design firm and playmates in Delhi. Creator of the design language for the award winning store iwannagohome! Singapore, Concept Photography for Chantelle, France and winner of a Merit Scholarship at the Cranbrook Academy of Art USA, I also hold a previous MFA in Graphic Design from the ESAG Penninghen in Paris, France. If you need more details, here is my CV.

Currently based out of Michigan, USA, I am working on some formal explorations about the nature of chaos, order, fear and paranoia. My work is a mixture of animation, film, digital, print and illustrative techniques; one of my favourite things is to play with visual perception. Apart from prepping for my three classes (Interactive Design, Portfolio Design and Page Layout), I am thinking of new ways to include generative processes into my work.
